As my loyal readers know (hi Mom!) I've written a science fiction novel, The Mars Run.  You can read it for free on the web at the link, or buy it from Amazon, Lulu or others.  

As part of my ceaseless marketing efforts, I decided to make some business cards as handouts.  For $12.79 at Office Depot, you can get 200 pre-punched business cards.  Avery, maker of the cards, also has a downloadable wizard to help you design said cards. I can't seem to get the image to load, but trust me, they're nice.

Rotary and a question

Last night my Rotary club held our annual grant-in-aid meeting.  14 members showed up, to "discuss" 53 grant applications for a total of $53,755.  Since we only had $16,000 to spend, discussion was lively.  We boiled it down to award 23 grants for $15,896.  Don't worry, we'll spend the remaining dollars.

And now for something completely different...

Apparently I did a dumb thing.  I clicked on "Rich Text Editor" in my Live Journal account, and now every time I post it wants me to use the RTF.  Is there a way to turn the damned thing off?
