I'm back at work and trying to dig out. However, here's a quick thought for you:

A Republican politician lecturing on the virtues of "fiscal responsibility" is like a drunk, double Scotch in hand, lecturing on the virtues of sobriety. In both instances, it's strictly a theoretical discussion.
