Catching Up
May. 20th, 2006 05:13 pmSorry I didn't post yesterday - a bug had my stomach in a vice (seemingly literally). I spent most of the day passed out on my recliner, fighting a fever. I'm ambulatory today, but still a bit puny stomach-wise.
In between my naps, I watched part of two flicks on AMC. First up was The Hot Rock, a 1972 caper movie. Later, I caught part of Goldfinger the 1964 James Bond movie. I mention dates because I noticed a commonality to both action movies. They didn't feel the need to blow stuff up real good. Hell, there wasn't even wall-to-wall action. There was like, real plot and story and stuff. Funny how tastes change
* Late Update* Chris Reilly's mom just passed away. His email said that she was fine at lunch the day before. Terribly sorry.
