D-day vs. Devil Day
Jun. 6th, 2006 11:40 amYes, I know today's date is 6-6-06, the "Devil's Day," and that the remake of The Omen is coming out tonight.
The more important fact of the day is that today is the 62nd anniversary of the Invasion of Normandy, AKA D-Day.
D-day was the largest amphibious invasion to date. Since Japan surrendered, thus mitigating the need, it holds that distinction to this day.
