Publicity Yeah! (Bad news uh)

I donated copies of my book to a few libraries. Well, the Danville, IL Commercial-News will be running an article about me (with picture!) this Sunday! Yeah! When it runs I will try to link to it.
I have been printing out my weekly newsletter from Rotary and leaving it in the lobby at the bank, as kind of a stealth recruiting tool. Well, our receptionist reads it, and discovered that I'm a writer. (Not hard to do, as it was announced in the newsletter). Looks like I've got another sale.
Uh:
I submitted a partial of my novel "Escape from New Deseret" to Jack Byrnes at DucKon as part of an open call. There was only one other submission. I just received the nice "close but no cigar" letter. Oh well.
