Baen's Universe!
Oct. 2nd, 2006 11:33 amBaen's Universe has just released their October issue. I haven't had time to read it all (it's around 150,000 words) but what I have read is good. First, John Barnes has a new short story, "Every Hole is Outlined," an interesting mix of ghost story and slower-then-light interstellar travel.
Second, Eric Flint, the editor, has some good news. Although they haven't hit the subscription numbers they wanted, they've got enough paying customers to "continue the experiment" well into next year. So, if you've been holding off getting a subscription, you might re-consider.
