Reviews of The Mars Run
Dec. 28th, 2006 02:49 pmI've been a little behind in posting new reviews of The Mars Run. In part, this is because I just found out about one via a Google search today.
The SF Reader web site posted a 3-star review of The Mars Run on November 8th. The reviewer, Eric Turner, said in part, "Gerrib does a wonderful job of clearly defining the parameters of his futuristic universe, making it a believable and a gritty reflection of our own world." He does admit concern that I named my character Janet Pilgrim (bonus points to the first commenter who figures out why) but overall he thought it was a worthwhile read. here's the link for the whole thing.
A new web site, Pub-ioneer, focusing on POD / self-published stuff, also liked the book. Talking about the lead character, the reviewer says, "She has to do the best she can with what she has, like real people do." Click here for the whole thing.
Well, enough with the commercials - back to the show.
