Saturn Vue Hybrid?
Feb. 11th, 2007 04:53 pmOK, I'm in the market for a new vehicle. Thanks to my dad, I get a significant employee discount on any GM vehicle. I am also an SUV driver, and have been since before they were cool. Now, my idea of "off-road" is driving through Chicago-area road construction, not mud-daubing, so I don't need a Hummer.
I am, in fact, considering a Saturn Vue Hybrid. It's the same size as my current (paid for) 2001 GMC Jimmy, but gets much better mileage. Although the Jimmy's paid for, so there's no immediate rush, it also has 75,000 miles on it and gets crappy gas mileage (16 city with a tailwind.) So I'm reluctant to wait for the 2008 dual-mode Vue, although a plug-in hybrid would be nice.
At any rate, does anybody out there have useful facts / experiences / helpful opinions on the Vue? Is it a good vehicle or not?
