Saturn - weekend update
Apr. 3rd, 2007 08:42 amI've put about 100 miles on my Saturn Vue hybrid, thanks in part to a 50-mile trip to two of our south-side Chicago branches. So far, the vehicle runs well and performs as expected. I had two concerns, both of which so far seem OK.
First, the car will shut the engine off at a dead stop. I was concerned that I would have lags in heavy traffic. Well, the computer proved to be smart enough to detect bumper-to-bumper, and let the engine run. Second, I was worried that the 4-cylinder engine would be anemic at highway speeds. This didn't seem to be the case. At any rate, I'll keep making observations as I drive it.
