The weather this weekend has proven wet and dreary. The Indy 500 is on a rain delay (for now - they may call it) and golf is not happening.

I didn't go down to my parents until today (no point - rain) so I watched The Queen on pay-per-view last night. Overall a very interesting movie, if quiet. I scene at the very end seems even more appropriate now. Elizabeth II felt that the people had turned against her over Diana's death and her (non)response to same. The-popular PM Tony Blair bailed her out. They're having a meeting a few months later, and Elizabeth turns to Blair and says, "they'll turn against you too, one day. And it will be very sudden." Considering Blair's unpopularity and impending resignation, it seemed even more appropriate now then then.

In other news, my Saturn Vue turned in an unstellar 21 MPG for a tank of in-town driving. Still, beats my previous ride.
