Wednesday Update Ahoy!

It be Talk Like A Pirate day, and since I be writin' of pirates (space pirates, raidin' The Mars Run) I must man the workin' party.

My shipmate jeff_duntemann writes today about e-piracy and publishing. It's a grippin' yarn, and well worth takin' a gander at. I did know, but forgot, that Jeff be a publisher o' tech books with Paraglyph Press an' a novelist besides.

In other news, the scurvy dogs at the City of Oakbrook Terrace have finally bestirred themselves to pour the concrete sidewalks. They came round September 4 and ripped 'em up, blocking me driveway, then did naught til today. Their "5 day job" has done turned into 14, and since the concrete be needing to dry, tis not done still.

Lastly, the next person or "news organization" that be wantin' to tell me about O. J. Simpson will be walkin' the plank!
