Weekend update

Yet another winter storm has hit Chicago, this one dumping ice and freezing rain. The main roads are OK, but parking lots and side streets can be skating rinks.

In a more positive note, I got my Christmas cards mailed. Since I'm usually lucky to get them postmarked by Christmas, I suspect there will be a few shocked folks at their mailboxes.

Since I have nothing else to do today, I shall see if I can get some writing done.
