Last of a series
Mar. 13th, 2008 07:22 pmOnce a month, I have been staying late at work so that the Assistant District Governors of my Rotary district can have a meeting. This is the last such occasion. It doesn't say much about my day to note that it's the high point of my day at work.
In other news, I just finished my review of William W. Lewis' Vietnam novel The Year of the Monkey
. It's a really good read. I'll have the formal review up tomorrow, to give my other review sites first crack, but go if you like military fiction, buy this book.
Lastly, thanks to the meeting, which I don't participate in, I get forced to write. Here's tonight's total.
