Quiet Weekend
Sep. 14th, 2008 11:11 amIf you haven't heard, it's raining in Chicago. We've gotten eight-plus inches since Friday night, and what's left of hurricane Ike is passing overhead, delivering more rain. Basically, if it can flood, it did or will do so soon.
Since the weather has been so wet, I stayed in last night. I mentioned in a previous post, I poured my work-in-progress Space Rescue into a Lulu paperback to read for editorial purposes. Overall, I'm pleased with the book. There's a chapter I need to split, some weak scene transitions and other bits of business to fix, but overall I like it. It will be interesting to see what my writer's group says about it this Tuesday.
