New Year's Resolutions, 2009
Jan. 2nd, 2009 02:56 pmI hope you enjoyed your New Year's Eve celebrations, whatever they may have been. Having posted New Year's resolutions last year, I decided to keep up the tradition. So, here goes.
1) Improve my love life. This is alas a repeat of last year. e-Harmony did not produce quite the results desired, so I shall have to investigate other alternatives.
2) Make sure I take one "real" vacation a year, where "real" is defined as "actually go someplace other then my parent's house or sit at home." Also a carry-over from 2008, but experience has suggested that if I don't make plans, they don't happen.
3) Loose weight. I fell of the wagon on my South Beach Diet, so now I need to get back on it. My problem is fries. Specifically, my favorite lunch place has great soups, and like many Greek-owned diners, if you order the "deluxe" sandwich, it comes with fries and soup. In truth, I should just get the sandwich, and skip both soup and fries.
4) Manage my time such that I write on a regular basis. This is a retread from 2008, but like #2, it's here because it worked. Space Rescue is done, and will be off to market (again) soon. While it's out, I would like to get Those Who Hide, Survive done.
