Terrorist Fist Jab vs. Yield Bump
Apr. 11th, 2009 02:36 pmRemember back in August when the Obamas bumped each other's fists on stage? It was called a terrorist fist jab. Well, now it's called a "yield bump."
I'm in downstate Illinois for Easter. One of the features of the TV news down here is commercials for farmers. Herbicides, Farm and Fleet stores, and seed corn producers. So, I'm watching the late news, half asleep, and a seed corn commercial comes on. The commercial is talking about "yield bumps" from using their brand of seeds. I look up, and the exceptionally white and non-terrorist "farmers" in the commercial are giving each other the same fist jabs!
There are days I think P. T. Barnum should have been a politician.
