Take Me Out To The Ball Park
Aug. 13th, 2009 10:41 amOr rather, I went out to the ball park last night. My Rotary club attended a game of the Kane County Cougars. They are a minor-league team with a small but very new ballpark, a park which even has skyboxes!
I'm not a baseball fan (or even much of a sports fan generally) so this is my annual outing. I attended more for the fellowship of the club than to see the game. Well, and to over-eat a bit - I had a quite tasty steak sandwich, an elephant ear, and two glasses of beer from Two Brothers Brewing, a local microbrew. The weather was perfect, the friends good, the home team won and overall it was a fun outing.
