Two Quick Thoughts
Oct. 13th, 2009 11:08 amI try to have something to post every business day, so sometimes I save things up for a rainy, or in this case busy, day. Here's one of them:
The State of Illinois has implemented an emergency contact database keyed off of your driver's license. Basically, you can go to the link, fill in some information, and the police will know who you'd like them to contact in the event you are incapacitated. To me, this is the greatest idea since sliced bread, and I've already signed up.
Another thought, found via Scrivener's Error, is this article about the publishing business. It's interesting, but I could do a shorter on it and say "don't just try for home runs - base hits are good too."
