I apologize for not posting yesterday, but I spent the day driving to and from Milwaukee to attend a (quite productive) meeting for work. Today, besides the usual catchup, I have a slew of meetings. Here's a pair of random thoughts of interest (to me, at least).

Thought The First J. Kathleen Cheney (j_cheney) has a wonderful entry in the really very good novella collection Alembical 2. The collection, available at the link, is now available for pre-order. I am also told that, in celebration of the release, the publisher is waiving shipping for all of their titles. I gave the collection a rave review at POD People.


Thought the Second Jim Wright over at Stonekettle Station has a humorous take on the Times Square Unbomber. The line which got me chuckling? Terrorist? Instead of sending Shahzad to Gitmo they ought to tattoo a big “L” on his forehead, Have President Obama thank him publically for his help in ratting out Al Qaeda, and then drop him off in downtown Peshawar wearing a George W. Bush commemorative hat. It could be a new reality TV show, Run Faisal Run!
