So, Joe Miller, the great defender of the US Constitution and Republican candidate for Senate, in Alaska, has a private security detail. This group of thugs arrests and holds a journalist asking questions at a public event, and threatens to arrest other journalists for covering the arrest.

I fail to find the clause in the Constitution that allows such action.

But this is exactly what happens if you follow libertarian theory - private thugs "police," accountable only to their boss, who do whatever the hell they want. Back in the Gilded Age, these private "police" shot striking miners. Back in the Old West, these private "police" came to town at the behest of the local bigwigs to "clean up."

Remind me again why libertarians aren't treated with the same derision as Flat Earthers?
