Two complaints, related only by the fact that they happened to me recently:
1) If you're at an intersection and happen to get stuck in the wrong lane, say, the right-turn lane but you wanted to go left, don't fight traffic - take the turn you're supposed to! I mean, drive down the road a block and turn around!
2) My heat in my house is on the fritz. It kinda works, but not very warm. The part to fix it is $890 installed, but won't be in for a week. I gave some serious thought to replacing the whole furnace, but:
- A new furnace runs around $3,000
- Installs are 4 to 6 weeks out
- The guy to come and estimate it can't be out for a week
So my "too hard" light illuminated, and I decided to just buy the part. The last time we did this the part lasted at least seven years, so I should be good until I'm out of the house.
