I find that I have very little to say, so have some links instead:

A) From [livejournal.com profile] jaylake, opposition to health care is steeped in tradition. At the link, you'll find reminders that everything from the 40-hour work week to the Food and Drug Administration was opposed in its day as massive threats to capitalism and freedom.

B) My publisher / editor, Eric Reynolds, has an interesting post on Novel Spaces.

C) Now that he's turned off comments, Tobias Buckell is on fire. Discussed on his blog is an interesting look at the Chevy Volt's background. Useful reminder - GM started work on the Volt in 2006.

D) Also grabbed from Buckell - Orbital Sciences throws their hat into the private spaceship ring.

E) Shorter John Scalzi: "I don't like sausages, but Obama did a damn fine job of making up a batch."
