My Rotary club has had various challenges with our web page. For a long time, we had page hand-rolled by a (now ex-) member of the club. It was the kind of spit-and-bailing-wire setup that only he could keep running. When he departed from the club for greener pastures, we scrambled for alternatives.
To keep a long story short, we landed on a content management solution hosted by Club Express. Basically, it involves picking a canned template and typing in your own content. Well, we're far enough along in that process to have something live at www.darienrotaryclub.org. I'd appreciate it if the web-viewing public would wander on over and kick the tires.
Things I'd really like input from the crowd about:
1) Are there things missing? I mean, if you were evaluating joining Rotary or researching us, what would you like to see that's not there?
2) Are there things that maybe shouldn't be up there?
3) General comments on "look and feel." It's a canned package, so some stuff is not changeable, but any input is appreciated.
4) Are there things that don't appear to work?
Since I am concerned that things may not be working, please leave suggestions in the comment threads. Thanks in advance.
