It's a Monday
Mar. 7th, 2011 09:36 amIt's a Monday and I find that I have little to say. I've been watching season 2 of the History Channel's reality TV show Top Shot. This is a show in which 16 shooters compete in various shooting competitions for a $100,000 prize. The most recent episode I saw was an archery competition, and a competitor was eliminated. Anybody who signs up for this show and doesn't shoot a bow is wasting their time.
I've detected a pattern to this show - there is one team that's reasonably squared-away and one that's not. What I don't know is if this is "reality" or creative editing. Either way, I enjoy watching a gun-positive show like this.
In other news, on Saturday I attended a banquet honoring a fellow Rotarian, Bob Klein, who was awarded Darien's Citizen of the Year. It was a nice time, and good recognition to the Rotary and to an individual who is active in the community.
