Mar. 10th, 2011 01:31 pmThings are a bit hectic with me - we are trying to finalize our items and guests for next week's fundraiser auction for my Rotary club. As usual, we're dealing with the Last-Minute-Charlies, which is always fun.
Speaking of Rotary, yesterday I promised that I'd link to the report of our club's effort to honor local high school students. Well, Google Alerts tells me that the article is live.
Lastly, on a completely unrelated note, the US-flagged M/V Maersk Alabama was attacked by pirates yesterday. This is the second attack on that vessel. Unlike the previous attack, armed guards on board drove the attackers off.
