The evening and overnight news brings word that the UN has imposed a no-fly zone over Libya and Gadhafi declared a cease-fire. On the one hand, preventing deaths is a good thing. On the other hand, the situation in Libya is not an American problem. We are not the world's police, and although Gadhafi is a wart on the ass of prosperity, he's not the biggest or most problematic such wart.
If Great Britain, France and Italy want to enforce the no-fly zone and/or get further involved in the Libyan mess, let them. The US has more than enough fish to fry. It's possible that Gadhafi will throw in the towel over the no-fly zone, but I doubt it. He has artillery, armor and trigger-happy mercenaries. More international aid will be needed.
