Personal Update
Mar. 23rd, 2011 01:34 pmThanks to Jackie Powers, my personal website at www.privatemarsrocket.net has a new, spiffier look. There's a couple of tweaks yet to come, most significantly an "essay" section where I can post my longer LJ thoughts, and a re-done front essay, but it's worlds better than the old hand-rolled site.
In other news, I've been called for jury duty in DuPage county for the second time. The last time, in the mid-1990s, I had to call for a deferment and take what date they gave me. Now I can go online and tell them when I'm available. I'll let you know how that works out.
I started reading Up Against It, a new SF novel by M. J. Locke. It's really riveting, and I had to make myself put it down last night to go to bed.
