Mental Health Day
Mar. 25th, 2011 12:11 pmI took the day off today, mostly just to clear my head from the stress of my recent charity auction. It was a successful event (over $35,000 profit!) but hectic. So today I'm going to enjoy one of life's little pleasures - going grocery shopping during the week instead of on the weekend. (Yeah, I know, I lead an exciting life.)
Before I go, I have two other bits of news. First, over on my review site, we're having a Free Book Friday drawing. Mosey on over and post a comment to enter the drawing. The winner will be announced Monday.
Second, my post End of America 2011 continues to draw fire. I got an anonymous commenter today screaming "what are you going to do when gas hits $6.50 a gallon?" Well, considering most of Europe pays $7 or $8 a gallon, I think I'll survive. Probably won't drive as much, but them's the breaks. Maybe my commenter needs to talk to that idiot Jim Kunstler.
