A few links as the Labor Day weekend approaches:

1) Presented without comment: it you believe blankets keep you warm, you should believe in global warming.

2) So the question is, are airline pilots forgetting how to fly as they rely too much on autopilot? I personally suspect not, but the question is interesting.

3) In the gee-whiz department, NASA testing suitcase-sized nuclear generator for use in space. The generator being tested has a 40 KW output.

4) Sticking with space for a minute, NASA probe to Jupiter takes picture of Earth and Moon. From the point of view of the rest of the solar system, we're really living on one half of a double planet.

5) Over on my review site POD People, I've posted a new review of the contemporary crime novel Below The Line.
