1) So, NASA has discovered a Tatooine-like planet orbiting two stars. "Tatooine-like" is a bit of a stretch as the planet is Saturn-sized, but the discovery proves that close double stars can have planets.
2) My sister is working to ensure no military veteran goes homeless. Her latest problem is housing for vets with kids. She had three families with a total of 13 kids to place recently.
3) My editor, Eric Reynolds, explains that speculative fiction encompasses many types of stories. One type of story that Hadley Rille (his company, my publisher) has made a niche for themselves is of historically-accurate stories set in the ancient past.
