Deadline

I had a productive day off yesterday, involving getting new blinds installed, a few minor home repairs, grocery shopping and a nap. (Five-year-olds don't know what they are missing!)

I also downloaded my Hugo voter's packet, and devoured Mira Grant / Seanan McGuire's second nominated novel, Deadline. It's Book Two of a trilogy, which means it ends on a semi-cliffhanger, but damn is it an exciting read! Don't start the book unless you have the time to finish it.

Due to the illumination of my "too hard" light, I will not be selling books at Printers Row Lit Fest this weekend. I may attend, but I am definitely looking forward to a quiet Friday night.
