Two Items of Pop Culture

Over the weekend, I visited my new favorite movie theater, Hollywood Blvd Cinema and Eatery, to watch Catching Fire, part two of the Hunger Games series. (The irony of eating while watching a movie about hunger did not escape me.) I found the movie quite entertaining, and a solid entry in the series. Much like the book, the movie ends, if not on a cliff, rather abruptly, but that's the nature of the hinge movie (or book) in a series.

While at Windycon, a new film company, The Con Men, were filming. Episode 1 is available here.
