Mabel, Where's My Speedo?

It's not actually that warm in Chicago, but one would be surprised at how warm 17 degrees F feels after minus 16 F. The copious amounts of road salt dumped on the roads is actually working now, and so all but the most minor of streets are ice-free and dry. Just in time for another dusting of snow, followed by rain.

In other news, work on our Rotary fundraiser continues. We're having a Taste on Tuesday, March 11th from 6 to 9 PM in Darien ($30 / each, couples $50). For those non-local readers, we're running a Hoopsmania raffle at $20 a ticket. Tickets can be purchased online here. That drawing will start March 19th.
