Editing Question
Jul. 6th, 2015 09:08 amI hope all my American friends enjoyed their holiday. For the writers who follow me, a question - how long does it take for you to work through your edits?
I ask because I got the "editorial letter" (really comments in the Word file) for the re-release of The Mars Run on June 30, and I emailed the finished edits back last night. I see a lot of writers who seem to spend a long time on edits - more than a week, for sure. Am I just fast or lucky? Now, on the one hand I had whole chapters where no comments were made but on the other I removed a rape scene, which had cascading effects throughout the book.
