Friday Follies
Jul. 20th, 2018 10:05 amThere was no post yesterday because I was playing golf at one of my new favorite courses, Downers Grove Golf Club. We had great weather again, not too hot or sunny, and flew through the course in two hours for nine holes.
Work on the latest novel, Strawberry Creek, which is more commercial / literary than anything else, continues apace. I'm getting towards the muddle in the middle portion of the book, but so far I'm cranking a couple of thousand good words a day on it. I will definitely need to make a timeline of who was born when and how old were they when they did that, but I've decided to just pour the story on the page and clean it up later. Editing is always easier than writing.
