A bit late to the party, but I want to hype the new Hulu movie "Prey." It's the latest in the Predator series of movies, but because it's set ~200 years prior to the events of the first one, you don't need to know anything about the series. (My parents, who watched it this weekend, aren't familiar and they enjoyed it.)
It's a solid SF / action movie, beautifully shot and very engaging. I actually watched it twice, once in English and once in the "Comanche dub" (all the Natives speaking in Comanche). Highly recommend it and right now it will be my #1 with a bullet (or a stone tomahawk) for next year's Hugo ballot.
