Cell Phones and Intellect

I can't remember if I said this before, but I think cell phones make people stupid.

Prior to the invention and common use of cell phones, if you had a question for somebody at work, you called their land line. If they weren't there, you either 1) left a message or 2) figured it out yourself. Now, problem? No sweat - call his cell phone!

I don't think they make people stupid, but that stupid people and cell phones do not mix. It's becoming continually less stunning how customers rack up huge bills for overages and then claim the impossible occurred so they don't owe us anything.

If anything the etiquette of being continually connected is still developing.
