Happy 4th of July!
Jul. 4th, 2006 02:57 pmSorry for not posting, but I've been away from my PC. The boss took his staff out golfing Friday (I LIKE my boss!) and then I was downstate with the parents until Monday. Today, I marched with the Darien Rotary in the Darien 4th of July parade.
In other news, I have started work on a sequel to "The Mars Run," working title "Space Rescue." I'm actually on a break from finishing chapter 3 - about 4,000 words in. The novel will be told in alternate POVs by three characters, namely:
Penny Sharpe - she was briefly mentioned as a cousin to a character killed in "The Mars Run." She's in the Martian Volunteer Space Rescue Service (VSRS), and (at the end of chapter 3) in need of rescue herself.
J. R. Story - one of the (few) surviving pirates from "The Mars Run." She's looking to retire early.
"Black" Jack Williams - a midshipman in VSRS.
