Cons - Part 2
Oct. 31st, 2006 03:39 pmBuilding on yesterday's post, here's who I'm doing my Windycon panels with:
Friday 6 PM - Martian Chronicles
James S. Dorr - comes up as an established short story writer, but no blog or web page.
Phyllis Eisenstein - teaches writing at Columbia College, twice nominated for each Hugo and Nebula. She's also (I think) done a critique of my work at Windycon's Writer's Workshop. At any rate, she's a regular at these events.
Jack McDevitt He's just the guest of honor :-)
Leah Zeldes is a Chicago-area writer and at one time ran a fanzine.
Saturday 3 PM - Re-imagining TV
Gery Deer. He's a bit of a polymath, but should be especially interesting in this panel. One of his gigs is using and teaching people how to use bullwhips, so he's done some work in LaLa Land (Hollywood).
Allan Rosewarne - Couldn't find a website, but did see a number of posts and comments on SF sites.
Maureen Ryan - Google spit back the the phone book. There's a Chicago Tribune writer and a North Carolina poet by that name, and no way to tell who's coming (if either.)
Jeffrey Lilly - I also got the phone book for this name. I guess I'll just meet him at the Con.
