International Pixel-Stained Technopeasant Day!

The outgoing Vice President of the Science Fiction Writers of America posted an inflammatory screed against "Pixel-Stained Technopeasants" posting fiction for free online. All sorts of writers who have generated sales from this practice lit into him.

Jo Walton, author of the alternative history book Farthing, decided to declare today "International Pixel-Stained Technopeasant Day" and invite writers to post new stuff for free online.
