Jun. 21st, 2007 02:40 pmSo, most of us have seen the dreaded Sippy Cup Terrorist. For those of you who missed it, a mother with a toddler was seriously hassled and nearly arrested for trying to bring her toddler's sippy cup through airport security.
Now we have this. The wife of one of the kidnapped (and probably dead) US soldiers in Iraq is facing deportation. The common thread? Both actions undertaken by our new Department of Homeland Security. Apparently they are busily "Preserving our Freedoms, Protecting America," like it says on their web page. Makes me proud to be an American.
