Merry Christmas!
Dec. 24th, 2009 09:13 amI'm at work until noon, then gone on holiday and vacation until next year. I'll probably be doing some blogging next week, but I'm not sure how much. The roads are wet here, and the temperature is rising, so I don't anticipate much trouble getting south.
My staff just gave me an Upper Management Lubrication Kit, complete with a humorous packing slip. Thanks, guys! (Although one of my staff needs to turn down the Christmas cheer on his sweater!)
In other news, I took the plunge and joined Facebook. I'd been meaning to do so for a while, but the final straw was when I got a friends request from my sister. Much to my shock, I immediately knew about 20 folks on Facebook, and with the program's mutual friends feature I found another 10. This will still be the primary blog platform, and my profile at Facebook is at the moment rudimentary, but the concept is kinda neat.
I can't think of anything else to talk about, so for those that celebrate, have a Merry Christmas, and for those that don't, have a nice weekend.
