Link Salad - SUPERSIZED!

1) Solar or wind power? Why not both?. Space power with extra juice.
2) Libertarianism is Full Of Fail, or watch your house burn down because you forgot to pay a $75 subscription fee. This, kids, is why we pay taxes.
3) News flash - American women are in ground combat in Afghanistan.
4) The TEA Party - old whine in new bottles. Just ask yourself - if Hillary Clinton was President, what would be different about our political debate?
5) The US military is getting tired of schlepping fuel around, especially since The Bad Guys (tm) like to shoot at the convoys. So, they're going green.
6) A battle between a Liberty ship and a German merchant cruiser. Extraordinary gallantry.
