Like the label on the tin says...

1) The Flake Equation. From xkcd via that highly scientific method called "surfing."

2) An interesting discourse in how symbols mean different things to different people, The Walking Dead, Sir Francis Drake's Ego, and Cultural Context.

3) You really can balance the Federal budget, Esquire magazine did. The problem is you have to:
A) Cut military spending (buy fewer gee-whiz gear)
B) Raise revenue ($1 / gallon gas tax in lieu of the 8.4 cents tax)
C) So it ain't happening.

4) The actor who played "Danno" on the original Hawaii Five-O died. I didn't realize he was Hollywood royalty.

5) Damn sorry we bailed out the auto industry - those SOBs at General Motors are paying back another $2.1 billion. (Do I need a sarcasm tag?)

6) Jim Wright at Stonekettle Station wants you to rate this!
