Heat, or Lack Thereof
Dec. 6th, 2010 09:35 amAs I mentioned previously, My heat has been problematic. Basically, I had two switches that sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. When the switches didn't work, no heat.
Now, since Thursday, the switches went from working "sometime" to working "never." Which means no heat. The blower fan kicks in, but unless I have my kerosene heater running, it's just recirculating cold air. Fortunately, my backup heater, a Duraheat DH-2301, can heat the whole house. But I'm scared to run it when I'm asleep, for fear that it will malfunction.
So I wake up to a 60-degree house. Hopefully my replacement parts will come in and I can go back to modern heating systems.
