Observations and Radio Silence
Feb. 10th, 2011 09:38 amI'm not taking a laptop to Capricon, so absent some unexpected development, I will not be blogging until Monday. To tide you over, here are a pair of random observations, related only in that they happened to me.
Observation The First
I'm really quite taken with my DVR. See, there are some TV shows I like, but I am very bad about remembering to be home and turn on the TV to watch them. With a DVR, the machine remembers.
Observation The Second
I was driving around on the south side of Chicago yesterday (65th and Pulaski, specifically) and I see a funeral procession drive by. It consists of the hearse, two stretch limos and a yellow school bus. My thought at the time was "how did they decide who got the limo and who got the school bus?"
