A) One of the advantages of having a unique last name is that, when you set a Google Alert on it, you find out when your family has been in the paper as well. So, my sister was quoted again while working on finding homes for homeless vets.
B) In business news, General Motors reports first full-year profit since 2004. Just proves that "government bailouts" don't work. ;-)
C) Jim Elliot, a local Rotarian, was profiled in Huffington Post for teaching disabled vets how to scuba-dive. I know he also works with disabled people (vets and otherwise) on both diving and skiing.
D) Just a reminder: we pay half as much per gallon for gasoline as anybody else in the industrialized world. Considering the nearly 2 billion Chinese and Indians who want cars and vacation flights, the days of cheap oil are over.
E) In more good news from the piracy front (/sarcasm), pirates rush more guns and men to captured ships. This will not end well.
