Fellow Hadley Rille author Lawrence Schoen has a regular Monday feature in which he asks authors "what was your most memorable meal?" Well, today I'm in the hot seat, and here's my (non-standard) response.

Here's some other links for your amusement value:

A) We hear that North Dakota has very low unemployment, and recommendations that unemployed people ought to pick up and move there. Well, as Krugman points out, North Dakota has low unemployment because so few people live there.

B) An interesting if long article on why the 40-hour work week became standard. The punch line is that 40 hours is the most cost-effective solution.

C) Ever wonder how birds dart through forests? Wonder no more.

D) Presented with a smirk: I Explain Free Markets To Rush's Supporters or 'Why Bad Things Happen To Good Conservatives.'
