There Are Pirates in Somalia? Who Knew?

chris_gerribI was at my Rotary meeting yesterday, and I mentioned that a humanitarian shipment we were sending was going to have to run down "pirate alley" - the Somali coast. Two Rotarians, both the type of people you'd expect to be up on the news, said "what pirates?"
Well, those pirates. Now, I'm not picking on my fellow Rotarians, and I actually think highly of both of them. However, it was a reminder that life is complicated, and not everybody is aware of everything that's going on around them.
Or, in "shorter" tradition - there's always somebody who didn't get the word. (That fact may find its way into a story.)
