SPAM and Casino Royale

chris_gerribMy Casino Royale post from December 3, 2006 seems to be attracting a lot of SPAM comments. The latest is in fractured English (my guess written by a native German speaker) for "popular" drugs. I don't know if that post is drawing SPAM because it's old (and thus cached) or if the title trips a keyword. We'll see if this one draws more flies.
In other news, I just finished reading Cherie Priest's debut novel, Four and Twenty Blackbirds
. Now, Cherie hangs out with the SF guys (John Scalzi called her "everything you could want in a carbon-based lifeform") but Four and Twenty Blackbirds is a Southern-fried Gothic ghost story. I'll be writing a more cogent review soon, but if you've got some Xmas gift money burning a hole in your pocket, you could do much, MUCH worse then to buy this book.
